What's your favourite genre of music?
Indie/guitar music from the 60s through to the present day. Favourite artists include The Kinks, The Smiths, David Bowie, Blur, Oasis and Kasabian.

When you're not at Epsom Hospital Radio, what are you doing?
Looking after my two young daughters, and my dog, Stan.

If you had £1,000,000 to spend on yourself and no-one else what would you spend it on?
Take a six month holiday to Tahiti, hire Aljaz from Strictly to teach me to dance and buy a huge farm to keep hundreds of animals on (as pets only!).

What is your ideal holiday destination?
The Galápagos Islands

I love seafood - oysters and scallops in particular

My kids, a spectacular sunrise and Larry David

Weird & wonderful talents?
I once wrote, produced and directed a film that won a couple of (very minor) awards, and I have an encyclopaedic knowledge of old TV themes.

Family photos.

Anything by Dido

What is your favourite album?
Definitely Maybe has a lot of happy memories for me

Have you met anyone famous and if so, under what circumstances?
I used to live opposite Benedict Cumberbatch and, on the day I finally got the opportunity for a neighbourly chat, my dog decided he didn’t much like random men talking to me so wouldn’t stop barking and scared poor Benedict away. There were no duck treats for the dog that night, let me tell you.

Johnny Vaughan

Apart from your current partner, who would be your ideal dinner date and why?
Stephen Fry. Because he’s Stephen Fry.

If you were marooned on a desert island, what would be the items you'd need most?
A helicopter.
