What's your favourite genre of music?
I love a wide range of music including soul, funk, indie, country, folk, melancholy and even popular opera!
Ultimately I love playing upbeat tunes as it makes us all feel good.
When you're not at Epsom Hospital Radio, what are you doing?
One of my biggest passions is food – either buying it, cooking it, going out to try it, sharing it and of course eating it!
I’ve just retired from running a fantastic organisation called FoodCycle which provides meals for people who may be hungry or lonely. I was fortunate to meet and work with hundreds of amazing volunteers and it was an inspirational place to meet people who had positive energy. So I still have involvement there.
I also like to cycle, keep fit, do a bit of DIY, sew and knit.
Seven years ago a stray cat walked into my life and demanded that I attend to her every need. She’s called Fluffy and can be spotted regularly on my street posing for strangers who I assume are taking pictures for their Instagram. If I had a £1 for every time I witnessed this, my dreams for the next question would come true.
If you had £1,000,000 to spend on yourself and no-one else what would you spend it on?
Wow that’s a lot of money – and I have to be self-indulgent here…..so a house off the West Coast of Scotland would be incredible. Its one of the most beautiful places I know, so to escape there whenever I want would be amazing. I’d then have a party at the house with friends and family and I could probably afford a team of Epsom Hospital radio DJs to set up the sound system and play the music!
What is your ideal holiday destination?
I have a couple here – Italy as it has spectacular views, history, and most importantly food and warm people.
Scotland – again spectacular views, history and warm people.

I’m not one for watching films but I did recently watch the Wham documentary for the second time on Netflix and I could easily watch that again as it captures the youth and vitality of George Michael and Andrew Ridgely with fantastic footage of the era. I’d recommend it even for people who may not have realised just how brilliant Wham! were.
